New account creation on the rise in New Jersey

State officials for New Jersey's Division of Gaming Enforcement have confirmed that there are over 126,000 accounts created between all online gambling and online poker websites licensed by the state. There is however no exact figure available yet for the first week of 2014, but the latest tally by the DGE on December 29th was of 126,231.

There is supposed to an update on the number of accounts created so far for the first week of 2014 and if the trends so far can serve as any kind of indicator, figures might rise up to and over 140,000. Since online gaming was launched in New Jersey in November 2013, there have been on average 18,000 new accounts registered every week.
