The Las Vegas-based company, MGM has recently launched ‘playMGM’, its second internet casino in New Jersey. The company would be offering online poker as well as online casino games under its world known MGM banner. The company will also incorporate play into their rewards program.

The website comes at a time when online gambling revenues are sky rocketing in the states. The company already operates an online poker and casino site in New Jersey called Borgata.com, running under their brick-and-mortar Atlantic City casino, the Borgata.

The website would continue despite the coming of the new website launched by the company. The playMGM app offers real-money poker and casino games which would be available to people who stay within New Jersey. The new online casino further features offerings like a poker room, 20 table games (blackjack, craps, roulette, etc.), and more than 200 slot titles.

Rise In Casino Popularity

Ever since the state legalised online gambling in 2013, it is the fourth time in a row in June that the monthly revenue of online gambling in the state hit $20 million. Before the beginning of the trend the state had not reached $20 million in revenue of any month.
