Mentoring network for women in igaming

Share

American Gaming Association has announced it will launch a new online mentoring network designed specifically for women in the igaming industry, called Global Gaming Women. The network will not only monitor and mentor women working in the online and brick and mortar gambling industry, it will also allow them to connect via the website and seminars it will host throughout the year.

According to the GGW website’s about us section: “GGW was established by the American Gaming Association to create a broad network that allows peers to connect with their colleagues. The goal is for female gaming professionals to create lasting connections and learn from one another as well as nurture emerging female leaders throughout the industry.”

Women working in the gaming industry will be able to seek ou and find potential mentors to share advice, ideas and patronage. The website works pretty much like any socially-oriented platform where users create a profile and tag criteria and interests to better narrow down the search for potential mentor matches with at least 5 years of experience in the field.
