The newest pearl in the crown of Macau Fisherman’s Wharf is Casino Hotel Legend Palace, which is to open at the end of this month. Owned by Hong Kong-listed gambling operator Macau Legend Development, the establishment will open with 66 live-dealer gaming tables, according to CEO David Chow Kam Fai.The 223-hotel-room complex and the casino are bound to start welcoming guests at the same time.

Mr Chow further stated that between 46 and 55 tables at the Legend Palace would be dedicated to mass play, while another 11 would offer VIP service. In addition, the new casino has been granted 15 new-to-market gaming tables and 91 slot machines by Macau’s government. Mr Chow commented that number was lower than what his company applied for.

Pursuant to state legislation, Macau Legend is not eligible for table quota in its own right but depends on the quota of casino operator SJM Holdings instead.
