Imperial Pacific Resort, Saipan Starts Casino Operation On July 6

Imperial Pacific Resort will start its casino operations on July 6, was confirmed by Imperial Pacific International Holdings Ltd. on Monday. Currently, the company is running a temporary casino facility on the Pacific Island of Saipan by the name Best Sunshine Live.

Imperial Pacific in a press release told that the casino would have over 70 gaming tables and over 190 gaming machines. The hotel and other parts of the casino resort are still under construction.

A United States jurisdiction, Saipan is the main island of the Commonwealth of the Northern Marina Islands, of which Imperial Pacific has the exclusive casino license.

The resort will start the casino operations on 6th of July alone and not the accommodation. The hotel is under construction. Though, the dates when the hotel will open are yet unknown but once finished it will feature 329 hotel suites and 15 villas.

A principal amount of HKD50 million (US$6.4 million) was issued in convertible bonds, was completed by June 27 as told by the Imperial Pacific. This exercise would net approximately HKD46 million, as per the company. All the payments to contractors constructing the resort and the staff salaries are going to be settled with the proceeds, according to the firm.
