According to the Saipan Tribune, Imperial Pacific International have gross gaming revenue of over $1 billion from January to July 2017.
As per the official documents from the Commonwealth Casino Commission, the company paid a tax of $53.4 million from January to July 2017. This amounts to the 5 percent of the tax paid on the gross gaming revenue.
The casino made a whopping $327.3 million in the gross gaming revenue for January alone. April saw a weak time for the company where the gross gaming revenue dropped down to a little over $56 million.
The casino, however, picked up again where the revenue for May, raking in its second-highest gross gaming revenue of over $242.5 million. June and July fluctuated in humble figures at $90.1 million and $133.2 million respectively.
The casino commission confirmed the figures were only casino based and that casino like every business has to pay 5 percent on the gross revenue tax.
