A forty-one percent increase in third-quarter profit has been reported by International Game Technology (IGT), one of the leading slot machines makers. A significant increase in the casinos demand for casino-like games has increased the revenue for IGT.
Their profits totaled 33 cents a share, beating the 31-cent average of Bloomberg’s analysts estimate. Their slot-machines sales alone, increased 12 percent to $259.2 million and their interactive revenue rose 69 percent to $72.5 million, the company said.
