Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City Likely To Open Next Year By Memorial Day

 Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, former Trump Taj Mahal is expected to open next year by Memorial Day weekend following a yearlong renovation and remodelling of the Indian palace themed to signature Hard Rock styled rock n roll themed casino resort.

The demolition is expected the next month and construction is expected to begin by August.  Hard rock international applied for an entertainment retail district around the property when it appeared before the board.

4.2 million square feet of the existing casino hotel would be transformed to this project an elaborated entertainment facility, increasing employment and strengthening the economy.

The project is likely to generate more than 1,000 construction jobs and 3,000 permanent jobs in the resort.

Approx. a sum of $500 million is being spent on the entire rebuilding and remodelling of the existing casino hotel project. Hard Rock purchased the property for a $50 million.

For construction materials for the building, the Casino Resort has been given a rebate on sales and its luxury tax from hotel-room fees for 20 years or rebate equivalent of the cost of the project.
