Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa Turns Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

By Daniel Allermand

Breast cancer is a subject with increased focus in the past years, as everything from the NFL superstars to moviestars has been seen wearing the special pink colour in October to support awareness of the difficult disease that hits more and more women all over the world.

Now the Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa has decided to join the pink train and has turned the casino floor pink in honour of breast cancer awareness month in October. Not only is the casino floor pink, the casino also hosts competitions to win a 1955 pink Cadillac and other items.

Furthermore the casino has put special edition clothes in pink up for sale, where a percentage of the turnover will be donated to breast cancer research foundation, in this case the Oklahoma Project Woman.

“We’ve taken pink to a whole new level this year, and it is a creative way for our guests and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa to contribute to the ongoing fight against breast cancer,” Jon Davidson, Director of Hospitality at Hard Rock Casino Tulsa said to TulsaWorld.com.

“We’re extremely proud to help bring awareness to Oklahoma Project Woman, because it is a local organization that provides services year-round to those who are battling a disease that impacts thousands of Oklahomans each year.” He added.

Lastly, the entire 10th floor of the casino’s hotel will be turned completely pink, so guests can enjoy a completely pink experience while staying there. This includes bed sheets, the doors, pillows, robes and everything else you could possibly imagine.
