Governor Cuomo has repeated his threat on Tuesday to the Native American Tribe- the Seneca Nation of issuing a non-Native American a right to own casino in Niagara Falls.

According to the state, the Senecas have defaulted in their quarterly payments of gaming revenue. The Finance director has reported of not receiving any payment since January, where the Monroe County receives a million dollars four times a year from the casino.

The governor’s threats come as a response to the state’s next move. The governor says it’s without a doubt he would get international companies to bid on casino rights in the Buffalo, Niagara Falls area.

According to the governor, the Seneca Nation has defaulted a payment of annual $110 million to the state, to run the three casinos. The governor further added that it is not the first time the state and the Native American Tribe have issues over gaming revenue payments.
