Maybe you have heard about it before, crowdfunding is the latest thing for businesses to do instead of getting a bank loan to start up their business. This allows investors from all over the world to see the business plan and decide whether or not they will be interested in investing in the project.

GamCrowd is the first company to create this sort of site for online iGaming businesses and is meant to be the social network site of people looking to invest and for people looking for investors to start up their iGaming business. The idea and concept was started by Chris North, who is the former Chief Executive of Fox Poker Club.

GamCrowd expects to launch their site in the end of January 2014 and gather some investors, experts and people who has great gambling ideas. Chris North made the following comment “The last start up I did struggled to register any interest from venture capital firms and so I went back to my own crowd. I didn’t know it was called crowdfunding at the time, but that is exactly what we did and it was a spectacular success.”

GamCrowd hopes to help people with great ideas get funding, so that the industry can continue to develop itself.
