Foxwoods Resort Casino has just released their February numbers and revealed a small increase in revenues compared to the same month in 2013. Overall the revenues went up 2.2% to $39.3 million in 2014, compared to $38.5 million in 2013. Overall numbers were also up for Foxwoods as the numbers for February 2014 was $479.3 million against $462.7 million in 2013, showing a 3.6% increase.
“The increase over last year is certainly impacted by last year’s blizzard; however, this is a positive sign,” CEO of Foxwoods Scott Butera said and continued “The continued consistency in our numbers signifies that the direction we are taking is the correct one for our business and our loyal guests.”
With a solid event schedule being the main focus of Foxwoods, they have created new and innovative ideas to attract new crowds to the casino. One of the ideas is drunken palette, where people are invited to come by and be guided step-by-step in creating their own piece of art.
Furthermore Foxwoods continues to host large parties and as well as hosting concerts, all to provide the best possible entertainment to their resident players and those who come from far away.
