DraftKings, Resorts Casino Hotel brings full mobile sports betting to New Jersey

DraftsKings in association with Resorts Casino Hotel has launched the first online and mobile sports betting platforms in the state for its people.

Matt Kalish, co-founder of DraftKings called the soft launch of the company’s online and mobile sports betting product which started from Aug 1 as ‘fantastic’.

The DraftKings’ online and mobile sports-wagering had gained approval from the state regulatory on Monday morning and it was now available to the general public.

Matt Kalish said that the goal of launching an online sports platform for the people was to attract enough players via invite-only for getting the feedback and ensuring that the product met company’s standards and those of state regulators at the Division of Gaming Enforcement.

“As a testament to our technology and our product team, we are very excited to launch our product for every customer who are currently in New Jersey,” Kalish said.

The president and CEO of Resorts Casino Hotel, said that the casino hotel was overwhelmed to be first market with online and sports gaming in the state.

“It is a very exciting day for New Jersey sports fans who have the opportunity of betting on their favourite sport with a high tech and innovative mobile app.”

 Interestingly, just a day after DraftKing’s soft launch, Resorts announced that they will be opening a second online and mobile sports betting partnership with the stars group.

The Star Group and casino Hotel extended their existing partnership for being included in the future online and mobile sports betting through BetStars brand alongwith existing online poker and casino which is available through PokerStarsNJ brand.
