The gambling friendly state of Louisiana has been experiencing decent growth in gambling revenues this year, as their 14 river boats, four racetracks and their land-based casino experienced growth of 3.9% in November compared the previous year.

Overall all of the casinos reached revenues of $194.6 million compared to $187.3 million in 2013. The growth has been reached through increased focus on recreational gamblers, which has led to more visitors in all of the casinos.

Lake Charles experienced the biggest growth, increasing their revenues with a massive 7% year-on-year to $55.3 million. Baton Rouge’s casinos gained 1.9% in revenues from October to November, having $21.8 million in revenues.
