After the horrors of Friday attack on resorts world manila, putting the entire country under panic and red alert, many owners of the likes of similar resorts in Manila, plan to increase the security at their resorts.

One such example is Lawrence Ho, the owner of the City of Dreams Casino Resort in Manila who intends to heighten the Philippines of his complex, following the incident at Resorts World Manila.

Though Ho refused to tell on how he plans to do that he did mention that his casinos used all types of measures including metal detectors, surveillance and counter-intelligence measures and security guards.

“We get news about what happens around the region. Occasionally, there is instability within geopolitics in the Philippines and the ASEAN region, so we take it (security) very seriously,” Ho said.

Despite the Philippines being one of the fastest growing casino hubs in Asia after Macau and Singapore, security has always been a major concern in the Philippines which discourages big spenders from China, who are precautious of the incidents like kidnapping and extortion incidents.
