Horseshoe Casino in Cincinnati made a millionaire mistake when awarding a $1 million prize to the wrong winner. The casino did not foresee that two men named Kevin Lewis would be on the floor the day of the draw.
It was too late to correct the mistake as the wrong Kevin Lewis was already celebrating his win in front of the cameras. According to casino spokeswoman, Jennifer Kulczycki, “there was a lot of similarities between the two gentlemen that led to confusion on our end”, however, the casino allowed both men to keep their prizes. Kulczycki added that the gesture was “consistent with our commitment to do the right thing for our guests.”
