The Historical Museum in Porterville, California, has added a bus trip to the Eagle Mountain Casino to its program of events. The trip takes place monthly on a Tuesday evening, and one has already been scheduled for Feb 28. Along with games and freebies, participants are treated to a happy hour at Giovanni’s Pizzeria from 5:00 to 6:00 PM when drinks are sold at $0.50.
Buses pick up passengers from Giovanni’s at 45 N. Second Street as well as from the Casino Parking Lot 4 on Highway 190 and Avenue 264. Afterwards, they set off to the casino and return at 10:00 PM.
A casino trip single ticket is priced at $10 and includes the ride, games on the bus, participation in a slot tournament, a food voucher and $25 Summit Club Card credit for playing in the casino.
The money collected from the bus trip are used towards financing the museum’s exhibitions and activities.
