Betfair ready to launch NJ online gaming ads

Yesterday we reported on Betfair and Trump Plaza making an official announcement of their partnership to launch online gaming in the state of New Jersey. Now Betfair has announced its plans to launch an ad campaign via television, radio and online and social media.

The campaign actually started last week with the launch of LetsPlayNJ.com, a webpage promoting awareness of the state’s intention to launch legal and regulated online poker and gambling in November 26th. The website doesn’t offer much information but it reads: “The future availability of internet gaming services on Betfair.com in New Jersey is contingent and conditioned upon the issuance of all necessary approvals, licenses and permits by the State of New Jersey including, but not limited to, all approvals, licenses and permits required by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.”

Managing Director of Gaming for Betfair, Paul La Fontaine, stated the website would be a fantastic way to generate awareness about the gaming company operating in New Jersey. “We’re going to use it to give customers a taste of the Betfair experience that they will enjoy when we are permitted to launch our online casino. New Jersey is leading the way by launching online gaming and creating a new economy. Betfair brings more than a decade of online experience and through our platform will be pleased to enable play anywhere, anytime through web and mobile devices.”
