Ladbrokes Coral Plc has made an official announcementon the promotion of Jason Scott as an Interim Chief Executive of Ladbrokes Australia.
Another new appointment is Greg Sedgwick’s on the position of Non-Executive Director. His new role will entail an advisory function for Ladbrokes Australia’s management.
Jason Scott has taken the place of Dean Shannon who is saying goodbye to the division at the end of February.
Scott has so far played key management roles for helping establish Ladbrokes Australia as a market leader.
Jim Mullen, CEO of Ladbrokes Coral, commented that the company had seen a massive growth on the Australian market since 2013. According to the chief, it was Jason Scott’s entrepreneurial drive that had thus far proven crucial in Ladbrokes’ impressive performance. He added, “Jason has sports betting in his DNA and understands the market and more importantly, the Australian business better than anybody. His task is simple, keep the momentum in the business and keep the brand as fresh and as customer focused as it always has been.”
