Fenway Games Partners with HQ Sports to Enter Chinese Market

Beijing-based sports social media platform HQ Sports introduces SnapPlay by Fenway Games to the Chinese market.

The platform covers the English Premier League and is targeted at a 400-million mobile audience that will access it through the MiaoHi sports app. The games require users to predict what will happen in the next 60 seconds of the live football match they are watching.

HQ Sports began in 2016 but has already secured solid support by investors such as China Media Capital (CMC), Tencent and Yuan Xun Fund. The company is led by ex-Manchester City player Sun Jihai.

Fenway Games’ platform is set to expand to include basketball, cricket and eSports in the future. The company is currently looking into setting foot on the British market with SnapBet.

Founders of both companies have expressed their excitement about the partnership and are hoping to tap into the full potential of the deal in the upcoming months.
