Bwin.Party announced today that they have launched their very first social sports betting product, which they have named “Sportster – Bet & Win”. The game has been launched on Facebook, where players can enjoy the game with their Facebook profile, completely free.

The game was developed in partnership with Nordeus and Win, with Win being a subsidiary of Bwin.Party who is developing social casino games. The game is quite simple as players can place bets on live matches from all the biggest leagues around Europe as well as place bets on virtual matches, all with virtual funds instead of real-money.

Another feature is the Bet Race, where players can compete against each other in groups in real-time and Multi-Round Bet Race where players race to get the highest score by placing bets on Virtual matches. All of this leads to players unlocking new challenges as they move up in the Interactive Quests.

“Nordeus fans requested the ability to bet on sports matches, and we’ve been hard at work designing a dynamic new gaming experience for them. Together with Win we’ve created the ultimate fan experience in Sportster—Bet and Win where football fans from all over the world can bet on real and virtual matches in an entirely new way.” Project Manager of Nordeus, Nebojsa Djuric said in a press release.

“Sportster—Bet and Win is one of the first and most unique social sports betting games. Virtual match betting with interactive features like ‘Bet Race’ keep the heart-pumping action going even when there are no real-world matches happening.” Chief Executive Officer of Win, Barak Rabinowitz added.
