Raffaelle Sorrentino Chipleader after Day 2 of EPT London Main Event

Day 2 of the European Poker Tour Main Event in London has come to an end and the field has been reduced from 675 players in total to a mere 135 players starting Day 3 later today. This leaves the players with an average chipstack of 150,000 going into blind levels that starts with 1,500/3,000 small and big blind.

 

Italian player Raffaelle Sorrentino is the current chipleader, having build up a massive stack of 491,400 chips or equal to more than three times the average stack. Sorrentino has a 70,000 chips chiplead down to the followers, Sebastian Pauli with 419,500 in chips and David Cabrera with 418,500 in chips, and has all possibilities to be able to dominate the tables.

 

Many of the Pokerstars sponsored players has been playing the EPT Main Event, but some of them busted out already such as Luca Pagano, Ike Haxton and Victoria Coren Mitchell. Still in it for Pokerstars is Mickey Petersen, Liv Boeree, Johnny Lodden, Jake Cody, Bertrand Grospellier and Eugene Katchalov.
