Pro poker player was a target for 'sextortion'

In  the fall of 2010, pro poker player Joe Sebok was a victim of extortion when he was threatened by two California men. The men admited to have hacked into Sebok's email account where they found naked pictures and other intimate information. They told Sebok that unless they didn't get good money out of them they will post the pictures online.

Sebok claims that such crime has damaged his chance to make a living as a professional poker player and that has shattered his personal life. 'I haven't been able to keep my participation in the poker industry as before, stand for other brands or look for future projects'.
