The event will feature a $300 buy-in, and the proceeds will go towards supporting disadvantaged children in the South Florida area.

Taylor, who is a passionate poker hobbyist, is going to play in the tournament. The lucrative prize pool of the event comprises over $10,000, out of which a $3,500 seat in the March 31 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown and a four-day vacation in Cancun, Mexico.

The tournament has become an annual tradition raising over $20,000 last year.

Jason Taylor is one of the most prominent pass rushers in NFL history. He concluded his career in 2011 after competing for 15 years and being crowned as the seventh best player of all time. In addition, he was a six-time Pro Bowl selection during his 13-year tenure with the Miami Dolphins.
