New Jersey Video Poker Player Wins $1.5M Jackpot

A man from Union County in New Jersey probably had a very good day on Valentines Day - And no we are not talking about that. He was trying out his luck on, a regulated site under New Jersey's gaming regulations, where he won a massive $1,500,000 by hitting a royal flush on the "Let it Ride" game.

The jackpot is the largest ever won in the state online and it isn't going to be beaten one of these days most likely, as it requires that the player is willing to invest $2,000 per hand. The player has to bet three times on the streets and also have a side-bet function called "3-Card Bonus" where he has to place $500 on each to win the $1,520,000 prize.

Betfair New Jersey is very excited about the win and hopes that it will bring more players to their room in the chase of winning a massive prize similar to the one won by the Union County man. Betfair currently partners with Golden Nuggets Casino for their operations, after having been forced to change from Trump Plaza after they closed down due to bankruptcy.

Let's hope the player will go play the real poker game with the money and create some much needed action in the poker rooms of New Jersey.
