Wilson was the first to bust, his ace-queen were no good against Newport’s ace-king. Kooij delivered the next knock out, he won the flip with ace-queen against Farstad’s pocket 9’s to eliminate him in eighth place, good for €62,300. It was again Kooij taking care of the next player to bust, Kooij spiked a queen on the turn when his was up against Brion’s . Moorman busted Bellini (sixth, €125,450) and Enebakk (fifth, €163,800) shortly after eachother, so players were suddenly down to four.

Kooij decided it was his turn again to knock a player out, his turned out the strongest against Newport’s on a board of . Not long after it was Moorman’s turn to leave the felt, he got all his chips in the middle with pocket 6’s against Kooij’s Q’s and didn’t improve, earning himself €241,300 for third place.

Kooij and Samri decided to make a deal, where Kooij took the biggest chunk, €372,060, opposed to Samri’s €341,220, with €12,000 left to play for. Kooij started heads-up play with a 2:1 chiplead, but the tables were turned when he doubled Samri with 2’s against ace-queen. Ten minutes later the tournament was concluded when Kooij had all his chips in the middle with against Samri’s when the board ran out . Samri won the trophy and the extra €12,000, while Kooij had to settle for second (even though he won more money).
