GearPoker Leaving the Equity Poker Network

Share

GearPoker and the Equity Poker Network announced today that they have parted ways, after a mutual agreement between the site and the network. GearPoker will be leaving the Equity Poker Network effective today (August 13th 2014) and will begin to look for a new network to join instead of the Equity Poker Network.

GearPoker has confirmed to the network that all players bankrolls are completely safe and intact and that they will be paying out all player cash outs requested. Players can also choose to wait until GearPoker has found a new network to join before they want to request their money, they aren’t simply going away.

The reason for the two companies to part ways is in no way dramatic, but simply due to the companies realizing that they do not agree on the way that they do business. When a network and a site cannot agree on how things should be done, it is natural to seek other paths and that’s what GearPoker decided to do.

“This decision has been taken in the best interests of both EPN and the Operator. We wish GearPoker continued growth for the future, and we part ways amicably,” said an EPN Spokesperson.

It is not expected that the traffic on the Equity Poker Network will take a big hit with the loss of GearPoker.
