24hPoker Changing to 24hBet

24hPoker, the popular poker site run by iGame in Malta, announced that they are going to change name to 24hBet. The name change is a natural step for the site, as they are focusing more and more on betting, rather than on poker which has proven to be a product which there isn't a lot of profit in anymore.

Besides 24hPoker, the casino from will also be moved under the new brand, collecting all of their products under one simple brand. The brand will continue to offer the same products as previously and will still have the European LGA license.

“Our new name also reflects our aim to make a permanent stamp in the sportsbook market. Most importantly, we know our players and with our new market strategy, we are sure to reflect the right desires from sports fans and sportsbook gamblers alike. We will offer an exciting sportsbook product where all odds and sports can be reached at any time” Brand Manager of 24hBet, Patrick Backland said in a press release.

The poker product will continue to be a part of the Microgaming Poker Network (MPN), which has experienced some decreases in activity in recent times, with several bigger operators such as Ladbrokes and Unibet leaving them.
