A 54-year-old woman in Arlington was robbed-off her winnings at gunpoint, while she was driving home from the Tulalip Resort Casino, Ohio, on early Friday.

The victim was returning home after winning $1,500 on Thursday night. The woman was travelling towards the east on Highway 530 at around 3:30 a.m. She noticed a dark-coloured sedan behind her that began chasing her. The woman told the police that the car attempted to push her off the road.

The lady had to pull-over. Two men stepped out of the sedan car and their faces covered with ski masks, and one of them pointed a gun out on the woman. They demanded the money from her. The suspects fled the scene by taking off westbound.

Shari Ireton, a spokeswoman for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, comforted the people and wanted the people to be aware of their surroundings. She then added “If you’re in danger, you can call 911 while you’re driving. The distracted driving law goes out the window when you’re in danger.”
