A new gambling parlor in Pittsburg, Kansas, is preparing for a grand opening ceremony on 8 April. The $80-million Kansas Crossing Casino & Hotel is going to be the newest gaming facility in the state, and owners are hoping to attract huge crowds of players for the kick-off night.

The first day of operation of the establishment will welcome visitors to the casino floor and two restaurants. Moreover, the first live performance at The Corral bar will feature again on 8 April, pending the announcement of the act.

As far as the gaming facilities in the casino are concerned, the new development will boast over 625 slot machines as well as 16 gaming tables. In turn, guests will be spoilt for choice by the 123-room Hampton Inn and Suites Hotel and its glitzy entertainment complex.

The newest operator in the state will stand side by side with state-owned casinos Dodge City, Mulvane and Kansas City, along with several gambling establishments owned by native American tribes.
