NetEnt and Danske Spil in License Agreement

Share

Net Entertainment, the world’s leading online casino game supplier, announced today that they have signed a license agreement with the leading Danish betting company, Danske Spil. Danske Spil is partially owned by the state and had monopoly on all gambling in Denmark until new regulations were enforced from January 1st 2012.

The agreement between the two companies will see Danske Spil integrate a wide range of Net Entertainements casino games into their portfolio to offer them to the regulated Danish market. Danske Spil currently offers customized slots for their Danish players, based on famous Danish people, movies, bands as well as their culture.

Net Entertainment will be a boost to Danske Spil’s casino business, which besides their own slots also have live dealer games from Evolution Casino. With more competition in the casino area than in any other in the Danish Market, Danske Spil is trying to establish themselves as a market leader.

“NetEnt was among the first to supply online casino games on the regulated Danish online gaming market in 2012. I am very pleased about this partnership as we continue our expansion in the strategic WLA channel. I am confident that Danske Spil will strengthen its leading position when introducing NetEnt’s portfolio of world-class thrilling games”, says Per Eriksson, President and CEO, Net Entertainment.
