Microgaming, one of the world’s leading and most innovative online casino game providers, have just signed a contract with HBO licensing, being granted a license to create online slots themed upon the popular TV show “Game of Thrones”. The timeline for the release of the games are somewhere in the end of 2014, so fans of the show will not have to wait long.
The online slots, two to begin with, will feature all the most famous characters from the series and also involve around specific incidents from the series. It is expected that the fans of the series will love the new slots and will be able to see how well detailed after the real series and books that it will be.
“We are incredibly excited to have signed a licensing agreement for Game of Thrones, a highly relevant and extremely popular show. We plan on taking all of the features of the small screen fantasy epic to create a masterpiece of a slot.” CEO of Microgaming, Roger Raatgever said.
Raatgever is quite happy with their ability to sign franchise agreements with many of the biggest shows and movies in the world and expect that Microgaming will continue to do so for the next period, to be the leading provider of famous games. He didn’t want to provide an exact date for the launch of the Game of Thrones slots, but he said it will be launched after the Terminator 2 slot will go online, which is expected to go live this summer.
