Microgaming and Studiocanal SA has just made a new partnership agreement, allowing Microgaming to create the Terminator 2 - Judgment Day slot. Studiocanal SA is the film studio who owns the rights to the movie which was directed by James Cameron and released in 1991. It had huge stars such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Edward Furlong in the movie and was released as a sequel to the Terminator 1 movie that came out in 1984.

Microgaming is planning on introducing the new slot game on the upcoming ICE Totally Gaming Exhibition in London in February. They are hoping to bring the excitement of the Terminator 2 movie to the reels and is already far in the development of the new game. Roger Raatgever CEO of Microgaming made the following comment: "We are incredibly excited to be developing an online slot around the Terminator 2 movie - it is a brand which has mass appeal and lends itself perfectly to the world of online gaming," and continued: "As explosive as the film, we are in the process of creating an action-packed, jaw-dropping slot; it's a classic in the making!"

Terminator 2 Slot will have 243 different ways to win a prize and if a player wins free spins, it will trigger a special function where the player will have 1024 ways to win instead. Free spins are won by hitting three or more Time Travel Orbs symbols on the reels.
