JackpotCity Launches Windows Mobile Application

JackpotCity, one of the leading online casino sites in the UK, announced today that they have launched their first Windows Mobile application, allowing players to play their casino games from Windows Mobile tablets and smart-phones.

The release comes after Microgaming announced last week that they created the first native Windows Mobile application and launched it on the Windows Phone Store. The application can run on Windows Mobile 8.0 or 8.1 and features around 40 Microgaming games including Slots, Jackpots, Video Poker and Table Games.

“We follow mobile developments very closely and recent statistics show that the Windows Phone market share is increasing significantly across many European countries.” Head of Casino at Microgaming, John Quinn said in a press release.

JackpotCity is the first operator to be able to launch the Windows Mobile application to their customers, with other operators under Microgaming being rolled out in 2015. The application will receive regular updates to ensure compatibility with new versions of Windows Mobile OS as well as to integrate new games and features.

“This app, created by Microgaming, is the perfect gaming stage for our players with Windows Phones. It is feature rich, with a plethora of Microgaming’s first-class games, whilst also being incredibly user-friendly and reliable. It offers a first-rate gaming experience.” A JackpotCity Spokesperson said.

“What’s more, apps such as these play an integral role in an online casino strategy, particularly in terms of retention and customer loyalty; it puts us in a great position to take full advantage of the thriving mobile gaming industry.” He added.
