Fired Atlantic City Casino Employees Might be Hired in Maryland

Atlantic City is currently in its biggest struggle ever, with several bigger casinos and hotels closing down due to bad profit reports and missing customers. The city which used to be the main competitor for Las Vegas has taken a nosedive and is no longer an attractive casino destination for players around the world and thus the casinos are losing tons of money and closing down.

With the closure of casinos and hotels, unemployment is a natural thing to occur. Luckily for some of those who lost their jobs in recent time, a casino in Maryland are looking to employ some of them again. A recruitment seminar will be hosted in Maryland and the casino hopes to employ around 50 new employees from Atlantic City.

Howard Weinsten, Senior Vice President of Maryland Live! said: “Atlantic City has proven to be an excellent source of qualified candidates for us. The workforce provides a pool of experienced talent for available positions across all departments.”

Everyone interested in a job with Maryland Live! can show up for the job conference the casino will be hosting and see if there’s a position for you. With Atlantic City having half the revenues that they had eight years ago, it seems that their time has come to an end.
