Evolution Gaming Goes Live with Casino Campione Tables

The leading online live casino games provider, Evolution Gaming, announced today that their new in-venue live casino studio at the Casino Campione d'Italia went live on the 27th of June. The new venue is part of Evolution Gaming's strategy to attract even more players to their games and thus help their operators get higher revenues.

The new live studio is based on the slots floor and showcases three live casino tables, which includes roulette, blackjack and baccarat. The dealers are employees from the Casino Campione and all games are monitored by professional pitbosses. Furthermore Evolution Gaming has been allocated additional space on the floor for a fourth table, should it be necessary to offer even more tables for the players.

Explaining his strategic vision, Carlo Pagan, CEO of Casinó Campione d’Italia and European Casino Association (ECA) Board Member, said: “We have a truly world-class venue here, from which we are committed to delivering a truly world-class multi-channel Live Casino service. We want our players to be able to enjoy the unique Casinó Campione d’Italia experience when they visit in-person and also on their computers, tablets and smartphones when they are maybe hundreds or thousands of miles away.”

He added, “Just as importantly, we see Live Casino as a key strategic tool and marketing channel with which to attract new demographics to our core business, the land-based venue. This is about online and offline working very much hand in hand to drive incremental revenue.”

Gionata La Torre, VP of Business Development and CEO of Evolution Gaming Italy, commented: “We are delighted to have helped Italy’s leading land-based casino towards this strategic goal. Casinó Campione see their land-based casino and their online Live Casino as being part of a single, seamless, integrated service that will help them further strengthen the Casinó Campione d’Italia brand in a still fast-changing global market. We are proud to have worked on such a forward-thinking initiative and feel sure that in-venue live studios will become a more and more familiar sight in land-based casinos in the next few years.”

Casino Campione is the oldest casino in Italy, being established back in 1917 and is the biggest casino in Italy based on revenues and size. They have a total of nine floors with games and 55,000m2 of floor space, making them one of the biggest casinos in Europe as well.
