British Themed Casino Coming Soon to Las Vegas

British Themed Casino Coming Soon to Las Vegas

It is well known that the Brits are admired from all over the world and that their culture is seen as something quite unique and somewhat attractive. This might have been the reason for the upcoming construction of a old British themed casino on the strip in Las Vegas, as they have decided to go back to the traditional British culture and create a casino based on that.

It will include old British styled houses and rooms, waitresses wearing big police helmets, red telephone booths and refreshment boots out of black cabs. Furthermore there will be plenty of good old pubs serving pints of lager as well as sports bars showing football at all hours of the day, in true British style.

The casino will be named "Ye Olde England Casino" and will cost around £500 million to construct, which they will start doing later this year. To stick to the true British tradition, the cuisine at the new casino will also be as British as one could imagine, serving Fish and Chips, Steak and Kidney Pudding, Pies and also mashed potatoes with gravy.

“It’s been a while coming, but so many of our visitors are from the UK this can only be a good opportunity. veryone loves your Royal Family and the polite nature of the people, so this is a project which is way overdue. Many other nationalities are already represented here.” Sandy Martinez, Las Vegas Council Official said to the Mirror.

It is expected that around 450,000 British tourists will visit Las Vegas next year, but the question is how many of those will actually visit a hotel and casino designed to make them feel like they are still in England? Personally I wouldn't travel abroad on a holiday to stay somewhere that reminded me of home, but that's just me.
